Mohamed, Bahrain King perform prayers

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and performed Juma (Friday) prayer and the absentee funeral prayer for the martyrs at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi (Wam)

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and performed Juma (Friday) prayer and the absentee funeral prayer for the martyrs at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi.

Performing the prayers along with King Hamad and Sheikh Mohamed were Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court; Sheikh Dhiyab bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Sheikh Omar bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation; Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan Chairman of the Board of Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs (ZHO); Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Executive Council Member; Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.

The Friday prayer sermon, titled ‘Martyrs of the Nation’, was delivered by Shaikh Khalifa Al Dhaheri who said the Emirati heroes sacrificed their lives in defence and support of the Yemeni people.

"The UAE people are all one family which is proud of its leadership and its martyrs who sacrificed their own lives to be rewarded with paradise," said Shaikh Al Dhaheri, and added that the recent events had made the UAE more determined to defend what is right, and to rally behind the wise leadership.

He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow eternal peace on the martyrs and to reward them with paradise. He also prayed for the mothers, fathers and relatives of the martyrs to be granted patience and solace and for the Arab coalition forces to be granted victory to enable Yemen to regain its legitimacy, stability and peace.

Following the Friday prayer, King Hamad, Sheikh Mohamed and other worshippers performed the absentee funeral prayer for the UAE martyrs.

Earlier, the King of Bahrain, Sheikh Mohamed, sheikhs and officials visited the tomb of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and read Surat Al Fatiha for his soul.

Ruler of Fujairah performs absentee prayer

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, at Omer bin Abdul Aziz Mosque in Madhab after the Friday prayer performed the absentee prayer on the souls of Emirati martyrs who fell while defending the people of Yemen from aggression.

The absentee prayer was held upon the directives of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, a number of officials and worshippers, also performed the prayer along with the Ruler of Fujairah.

They all supplicated to the Almighty Allah to rest the martyrs' souls in eternal peace in the Paradise along with the righteous and the martyrs, and bestow patience and solace on their families and relatives. 

Ruler of Fujairah offer condolences and pays rich tribute to families of nation's martyrs

His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, in the presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, offered his condolences on Friday afternoon to the families and relatives of the martyrs from the Emirate of Fujairah, who fell while taking part in the Arab coalition's ‘Operation Restoring Hope’, led by Saudi Arabia.

He visited the condolence gatherings of martyrs Jassim Saeed Abdullah Saeed Al Saadi in Marbah, Waleed Ahmed Ali Al Khadim Al Dhanhani in Dibba Fujairah, Khalifa Abdullah Mohammed Ali Al Seraidi in Al Hala district, Saeed Salem Masoud Al Seraidi and Mohammed Saeed Rashid Masoud Al Seraidi both in Wadi Al Sidr, Khalifa Mohammed Saeed Al Taklani Al Yamahi and Rashid Saeed Al Taklani both in Al Toween district.

The Ruler of Fujairah also visited the injured serviceman Hazza Abdullah Al Zayoudi at his father's residence in Dibba Fujairah, and wished him a speedy recovery.

He underscored that the sacrifices of the armed forces reflect courage and demonstrate the country's preparedness to fight against repression and injustice. Sheikh Hamad noted that the martyrs are sons of all Emiratis who share anything in happiness or grief.

He was also accompanied by Saif Sultan Al Samahi, Adviser of Ruler of Fujairah, Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Court, Salem Al Zahmi, Director of the Crown Prince's office and a number of officials in Fujairah.

RAK Ruler performs absentee prayer on souls of Emirati martyrs

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, performed on Friday at the Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi in Khuzam after the Friday prayer, the absentee prayer on the souls of Emirati martyrs, who fell while defending Yemen.
The absentee prayer was held upon the directives of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Omer bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Ports and Chairman of the RAK Free Zone and a number of officials, also performed the prayer along with the RAK Ruler.

They all prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the souls of the martyrs in eternal peace along with the righteous and the martyrs, and bestow patience and solace on their families and relatives.
