Meeting set Tuesday on Oxbow ring levee option

FARGO - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in cooperation with the Flood Diversion Board of Authority will host a meeting tonight for landowners in the Oxbow, Bakke and Hickson area affected by the proposed Fargo-Moorhead diversion channel.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with an open house at Bennett Elementary School, 2500 58th Ave. S., in Fargo.

A formal presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The corps and Diversion Authority are investigating the option of building a ring levee for the three communities.
