SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KTXL) — The Insight Coffee Roasters location on 8th and S Street closed for the day Sunday afternoon after a man shattered several windows with his fist, according to police.

Police responded to the incident around 12:15 p.m., and they were able to locate and detain the suspect after a short foot pursuit.

The suspect was arrested for felony vandalism, and he is currently at the hospital being treated for injuries to his hand, according to officials.

Police say he will be booked after he receives treatment.
