The Carluccio's branch in Dartford's Bluewater shopping centre will be the only one saved in Kent.
The Italian restaurant chain is now confirmed to have been bought by Boparan Restaurant Group (BRG), which owns companies including Fishworks, Giraffe and Ed's Easy Diner.
However not all of the existing outlets will be saved, with only 30 nationwide being kept on.
Despite 800 staff being saved by the move, employees at the Canterbury Fenwick's and Tunbridge Wells locations face an uncertain future.
Carluccio's entered administration on March 30, the same day as BrightHouse made the same announcement.
Administrators FRP Advisory were brought in to supervise the selling of the restaurants, and today said that 40 branches could face closure resulting in 1,019 redundancies.
Phil Reynolds, joint administrator and partner at FRP, told the Press Association: “The Covid-19 lockdown has put incredible pressure on businesses across the leisure sector, so it has been important to work as quickly and as decisively as possible in an extremely challenging business environment to secure a sale.
“It ensures the future of the Carluccio’s brand in the UK casual dining scene, retains a significant network of sites across the country and, critically, transfers a considerable number of jobs.”
