Alabama high school sports: Fort Payne's Connor Cash voted Gadsden area player of the week

Fort Payne's Connor Cash has won The Gadsden Times player of the week poll the first round of the AHSAA playoffs.

Cash caught eight passes for 128 yards in a 35-12 Class 6A first round loss to Briarwood.. He won 42.66% of the votes.

Cherokee County's Damien Ramsey was second with 40.62 of the vote.
