Looking for the Minnesota game on TV today?

Don't worry if you can't find the game. They don't play. It's their bye week after beating Maryland last week.

So if you're looking for an alternative game to watch from across the country, here are a few recommendations.

11 a.m. Central, noon Eastern kickoff

So, it’s a weak week of college football matchups, particularly in the early kickoff slot.

We suggest Wake Forest, now ranked, taking on N.C. State.

It’s a crucial Atlantic Division of the ACC battle, that could go a long way in finding out who finishes second in the division behind Clemson.

The ACC is struggling to be compelling this year, but this should be a fun game that sets up a potential great game between Clemson and Wake, if the Demon Deacons can win over N.C. State.

Tune into ESPN for the game.

2:30 p.m. Central, 3:30 p.m. Eastern kickoff

No-brainer, obvious choice here. Go with the game of the week and watch the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” in Georgia vs. Florida.

Georgia lost a bit of its luster after a stunning loss to South Carolina, but the Bulldogs can gain back some national attention with a solid win in Jacksonville, Fla, over the Gators.

This game likely will decide the SEC East representative for the SEC Championship.

It’s on CBS. Enjoy it.

6:30 p.m. Central, 7:30 p.m. Eastern

No Power 5 schools here.

Check out SMU, still undefeated and pitching for the big-time bowl spot, on the road against Memphis.

The American Conference battle is actually the game of the week on ABC, which says a lot about what this game means … and a lot about how many teams are on bye weeks this Saturday.
