Ciara was the first presenter at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, and certainly made an impression in an eye-catching black and red ensemble.
The 35-year-old singer presented the Favorite Album - Soul & R&B award at the Microsoft Theater, following the opening numbers from Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes and host Taraji P. Henson.
The Weeknd ended up winning the first award, beating out Doja Cat's Hot Pink and Summer Walker's Over It.

Ciara came out rocking a flowing red dress with a plunging neckline with a slit up the leg as she wore her hair in cornrows.
She rocked thigh-high black leather boots as she walked out on stage, with several necklaces danging from her neck.
The singer and wife to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson completed her look with a pair of silver hoop earrings and several rings.

Ciara's presenting duties come almost exactly after hosting the show herself from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The singer released her seventh studio album Beauty Marks in May 2019, just months before her hosting duties.
Ciara gave birth to her third child Win Harrison Wilson in July, but she didn't waste much time getting back to work.

Despite rising COVID-19 numbers rising across the country, there was a limited audience in attendance at the event as organizers for the award show took several precautions to make it as safe an event as possible.
A Dick Clark Productions spokesperson told Rolling Stone on Saturday: 'We have rigorous Covid-19 safety guidelines and protocols in place — approved by the unions and with guidance from L.A. County Department of Public Health — that are beyond what is required.'
Anyone who is entering the venue was tested in advanced and will continue to be tested throughout the production until wrap.
Facial coverings were also required for anyone not on stage inside of the venue with the one exception being background dancers who will also be required to wear masks.
