The McDonald's BTS meal has launched to a very excitable Singapore on June 21, 2021.

This comes after a three-week delay on its initial commencement date on May 27.

In a bid to reduce crowding at the stores, the fast food chain has moved the meal to a delivery-only option.

For S$8.90, you can get the following via McDelivery, Grab, or foodpanda:

  • 9-piece chicken McNuggets
  • Large fries
  • Large coke
  • Two new limited-time sauces: cajun and sweet chili

Except you might be facing some difficulties in ordering it.

At 11am, four Mothership writers, representing the estates of Jurong West, Punggol, Bedok, and Bishan, tried ordering it via the three platforms.

We just needed one order to go through.

But none of it did — at first.

A bit of persistent refreshing later, our order for a Jurong outlet managed to go through on Grab.

Hurray.

About 15 minutes later, a second writer who decided that she wanted to eat the BTS Meal successfully ordered it through foodpanda as well.

Some tips: McDelivery will probably be your lowest odds of netting the meal, seeing as how two of us are still in the queue after half an hour.

Refreshing your Grab and foodpanda will probably work better.

Also, rumour has it that each outlet only has 1,200 sets of the BTS meal. Do what you will with this piece of information. Just don't quote us on it.
