Alum Bank

Tony (Anton) Alfred Kremer, of Alum Bank, one of God’s favorite children, was called home on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at the age of 79.

He was born on Nov. 11, 1942, in Rugby, North Dakota, son of the late Anton and Mary Eva (Scherr) Kremer.

Tony was a newly wed of 54 years to “his bride,” Alyce (Bonham) Kremer. Tony cherished Alyce above all else with every fiber of his being. They married on Nov. 30, 1968.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eileen Vetter.

Tony was a proud father of two children, Sheila Rene Martin and Anton A. Kremer; proud grandfather of 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Some butterflies and some that walked on water. They were all joys of his life and brought many smiles to his face.

Tony had three sisters and a brother. He is survived by his sisters, Rose Selensky and Paulette Johnson; and brother, Jerome Kremer; and a very special niece, Brenda Vetter; and many other nieces and nephews.

Tony was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. He touched all that knew him with his great sense of humor and his work ethic. He will be greatly missed by all including his side kick Mighty Max.

A private celebration of Tony’s life will be held with a close circle of friends and family.

Online condolences may be expressed at www.jedwardblackburnfh.com. Arrangements by the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.
