East Hartford vaccine clinic offers shots

Apr. 20—EAST HARTFORD — InterCommunity Health Care has opened a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Stone Academy that's open to the public.

InterCommunity Health Care's nurses will work with Stone Academy students to administer up to 400 doses per day of the Moderna vaccine.

The clinic will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday through at least June, subject to demand. Appointments are open to adults age 18 and up who live or work in Connecticut.

Appointments can be made via the Vaccine Administration Management System or by calling InterCommunity Health Care at 860-569-5900.

Insurance is not required to receive the free vaccine, and appointments for second doses will be scheduled on-site. Stone Academy is located at 745 Burnside Ave. in East Hartford. The clinic will follow all COVID-19 safety protocols
