Lakewood easily handled Arvada West by a score of 49-14 on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Jeffco Stadium.

Jason Duong led Lakewood’s passing attack with 120 yards through the air, tossing one touchdown with no interceptions. Duong also chipped in one touchdown on the ground. Lakewood’s leading receiver was Tyson Pallatt, who caught five passes for 98 yards. Jackson White got involved in the passing game as well, reeling in two balls for 80 yards and one touchdown.

Dylan Ladd spearheaded the Lakewood rushing attack by gaining 72 yards in the contest, averaging 8 yards per carry.

Arvada West quarterback Xavier Nail led the passing attack with 53 yards through the air. Xavier Nail’s most relied on target in the game was Sebastian Lindeblad, who caught two passes for 26 yards.

Oliver Petelo spearheaded the Arvada West rushing attack by finishing with 71 yards in the contest, averaging 4.2 yards per carry.

Both teams will go on the road in their next contest, with Lakewood heading to play Ralston Valley and Arvada West taking on Mullen.
