Five things to do: Bob and Tom Show regular to appear in Martinsville this weekend
From a Tony Award winning performer to a Bob and Tom Show staple and a few other events, both Owen and Morgan counties will feature a number of entertainment options for all members of the family to enjoy.
Here are five things happening this weekend around Martinsville, Mooresville and Spencer.
VentFest
24 N. Washington St., Spencer, Ind.
The Tivoli Theatre in Spencer will host VentFest this weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

VentFest is an international ventriloquism and arts festival featuring a number of ventriloquists offering four different performances over the weekend.
The shows begin at 7 p.m. Friday and will also occur at 2 p.m. Saturday, 7 p.m. Saturday and the Gala Show will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The Gala Show features Jay Johnson, who was awarded the 2007 Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event.

Mooresville Summer Concert Series
1101 N. Indianapolis Rd., Mooresville, Ind.
RD Productions and Mooresville Parks and Recreation will host Jayne Bond & The Pink Martinis at 7 p.m. on Friday at Pioneer Park.

The event is free and concert-goers are asked to bring their own seating.
Food trucks will be on site and beer and wine will be available for purchase.
Rally in the Valley
1749 Hospital Dr., Martinsville, Ind.
Stability First will host the Rally in the Valley at the Morgan County Fairgrounds Saturday.
The event includes a 5K Run/Walk, car show and bike ride.

The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. with the bike ride starting at 10 a.m.
Awards will be presented at 9:30 a.m. for the 5K, 1 p.m. for the motorcycle show and 2 p.m. for the car show.
Madison Township Fireworks
7047 E. Landersdale Rd., Camby, Ind.
The Madison Township Fire Department will host its annual 4th of July Blazin' Celebration starting at 4 p.m. Saturday.

The event is free and includes activities for children, food and other entertainment.
The fireworks will go off a dusk.
Bob Zany in Martinsville
1010 S. Josephine St., Martinsville, Ind.
The Martinsville Elks Lodge will play host to Bob and Tom Show regular Bob Zany at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday.
Zany has also appeared on The Tonight Show and co-hosted the Jerry Lewis Telethon.

The comedian has also appeared alongside David Spade in the film Joe Dirt and in the movie The Informant in which he played at attorney for Matt Damon's character.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the lodge's bar after 2 p.m. daily.
Other events
These are not the only events taking place this upcoming weekend in Owen and Morgan Counties.
The second Serving Owen County Together event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Owen Valley Middle/High School complex, 622 State Road 46, Spencer.

The Owen County Farmers' Market will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday at the corner of North Short Street and State Road 46 in Spencer.
The Morgan County Farmers' Market will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Main Connection, 460 S. Main St., Martinsville.
