PONTIAC, MI -- A 25-year-old man was killed Monday after his supervisor allegedly shot him following an argument at the victim’s home. According to WXYZ-Detroit, Daniel Brotemarkle was sent home from work following an argument with his supervisor.

Brotemarkle left the job site in a company truck and went to his home in the 800 block of Woodland Drive in Pontiac. The supervisor and other employees then went to the house to retrieve the truck shortly after noon but an argument once again ensued. At some point, the suspect -- who has not been charged and hasn’t been publicly identified -- allegedly shot Brotemarkle multiple times.

Police were called to scene and found Brotemarkle lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Through the investigation, police also recovered multiple 9mm shell casings. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but later died from his injuries.

The 27-year-old suspect was arrested within the hour and is in custody. He is expected charged as early Wednesday.
