On Thursday, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported 50 new COVID-19-related deaths across the state, bringing the state's total to 7,201.State health officials also reported 471 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 102,063. Earlier this week, DPH began to report both confirmed cases and probable cases of the virus. Of the new cases reported Thursday, 59 are probable. None of the newly reported deaths fell into that category.
