As area high school seniors continue to hols out hope for graduation ceremonies, Geneva High School go their students one step closer.

Seniors returned their books and exchanged them for senior portraits, class rings, prom pictures, graduation announcements and anything they may have left in their lockers.

Students and Parents parked outside the auditorium as staff brought their senior supplies to them. It was a way to avoid large gatherings and abide by social distancing.

Seniors are still hoping for a graduation and to see their classmates one more time.

"It would mean so much, we had our last day and we didn't know it was our last day and that kind of broke everyone's heart. But seeing everyone here it kind of brings back emotions of how you're sad and you missed out on that last goodbye," Emily Campbell, Geneva High School senior said.

Geneva High School will distribute caps and gowns once seniors who are taking dual enrollment courses have completed their work.
