Ohio Breaks COVID-19 Case Record For 4th Straight Day
COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio's surge of new COVID-19 cases continued Saturday.
Health officials confirmed more than 2,800 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, breaking the single-day record set on Friday. Ohio is now averaging more than 1,800 new COVID-19 cases per day.
Hospitalizations related to the virus have also surged in recent weeks. Health officials said 140 Ohioans entered hospitals for COVID-19 treatment on Saturday.

"Right now, 92.8 percent of Ohioans are living in a county that is high incidence and/or has very high exposure and spread," Gov. Mike DeWine said on Twitter. "We pushed the coronavirus down before and we can do it again."
