Alpha Fire Safety edged out Eagle Eye Bassali by five wickets and with three balls to spare to claim the CBA BCL T20 Premier League title.
Batting first, Bassali made 187 for seven in their 20 overs with Asif top scoring with a 28-ball 52 while Zulfiqar contributed a 33-ball 51, Saqib a 23-ball 39 and Safdar a 26-ball 22. Tilina (2-26) and Irfan (2-32) shared the bowling honours.
In reply, Fire Service reached the target with useful contributions from Fiaz Ahmed (86, 49 ball) and Sameer (63, 49 balls) while Naveed (3-31) and Abbas (1-34) were the successful bowlers.
Semi-finals: Pak Lions 96 all out (Ateeq 30; Rafi 3-19) lost to Eagle Eye Bassali 97-5 in 15.3 overs (Rafi 51) by 5 wickets.
Awan CC 106 all out (F Shabir 25; Omran 4-24) lost to Alpha Fire Safety 111-0 in 15 overs (Fayaz 52, Akmal 45) by 10 wickets.
