It’s the ever-nagging dining dilemma: Eat what’s safe and known, or be adventurous. At Mexican joints it’s become my taco-vs-mole dilemma. Do I go with the tasty comforts of the taco? Or hope for an excellent mole and risk disappointment. I rolled the mole dice at La Valentina. What I got was lush and silky smooth, but lacking the rich depth we mole-lovers crave. My mole search continues, so too this dining dilemma.
