Striking print shirts from This is Not Clothing

This striking print shirt (€185) is by the Coventry-based visual artist Jam Sutton from a collection called The Fall of Paradise from his concept brand This is Not Clothing. Known for collaborations with musicians Pharrell Williams and Steve Aoki, Sutton’s work spans photography, film, technology, sculpture and fashion, fusing a passion for contemporary culture with visual art.

His striking David and Goliath sculpture in Carrara marble of an adolescent kicking the head of Goliath off its plinth, a new take on classical tradition, is one of the many selected pieces in the On A Pedestal exhibition currently at Castletown House in Co Kildare, but due to move to Dublin Castle from September 8th.

A knitting studio near Doolin, Co Clare, not only sells the beautiful garments made there, but gives visitors insights into its workings and the slow process involved in creating products from natural yarns that include cashmere, superfine merino and blends.
