Officials identify man killed in explosion at NJ welding business
Police said the blast happened just after 10:30 a.m. at Timberlake Welding Services

HARRISON TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) -- First responders were on the scene of a deadly explosion at a welding business in Harrison Township, New Jersey on Wednesday morning.

Police said the blast happened just after 10:30 a.m. at Timberlake Welding Services on Swedesboro and Tomlin Station roads.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office said 47-year-old Bruce A. Cheeseman of Cedarville, New Jersey, died in the blast.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the incident along with local authorities.

Action News reached out to Timberlane Welding Services, which declined to comment.
