Bullet grazes driver's head in downtown Dallas, police say

Unknown suspects facing the passenger side opened fire, hitting the car at least three times. No one other than the driver was injured.

A bullet grazed a driver's head after an argument in downtown Dallas early Thursday, police say.

It happened about 2:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of Ross Avenue near Central Expressway when someone shot at the passenger side of a westbound car, police said.

The driver told police that the suspect was upset with him and slapped him in the face.  After the driver drove off, the suspect followed him in his car to a stop light and produced a gun, which caused the driver to flee, police said.

At least three bullets hit the vehicle, and one grazed the back of the driver's head. No one else in the car was hurt.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. No information about who fired at the car was released.
