PE-backed Avidity Science buys Cascada water purification product line

Avidity Science, which is backed by ShoreView, has acquired the Cascada Laboratory Water Purification product line from Pall Corporation.

Avidity Science, which is backed by ShoreView, has acquired the Cascada Laboratory Water Purification product line from Pall Corporation. No financial terms were disclosed. The Cascada product line is a provider of water purification solutions used in life sciences research throughout Asia.

The Partners of ShoreView are pleased to announce that Avidity Science, a ShoreView portfolio company, has acquired the Cascada Laboratory Water Purification (“Cascada”) product line from Pall Corporation, a Danaher Company.

The Cascada product line represents a full suite of benchtop water purification solutions used in life sciences research throughout Asia. In conjunction with the acquisition, Avidity established manufacturing and distribution operations in Jiaxing, China. These investments expand Avidity’s portfolio of water purification products and provide regional capabilities to support customers in one of the leading international research markets.

Avidity Science is a worldwide leader in water purification systems and laboratory equipment for scientific research and healthcare facilities. Since ShoreView invested in Avidity Science in 2016, the Company has completed four strategic acquisitions.
