Tree-Free Greetings Canada releases the Canada Arts series

OSHAWA, ON, July 12, 2018 /CNW/ - Tree-Free Greeting Cards Canada has the first of many new greeting cards celebrating Canadian talent after a careful review.

The Tree-Free greeting card company is releasing works from Canadian artists for a new line of designs celebrating Canada. (CNW Group/Tree-Free Greeting Cards Canada)

"We put out an open call to Canadian artists for the 150th celebration last year," explains Brian Heiler, brand manager for the company. "We were absolutely flooded with responses!"

The initial three designs are hitting stores this week across Canada and feature works by Canadian artists, both professional and amateur.

Heiler anticipates good things for this new series. "The recent Buy Canadian push has consumers looking at where items are made." He adds, "with this new line you're not only supporting our local manufacturing but its talent as well."

The cards as well as artist spotlights will be featured on the Tree-Free Canada website (www.tree-free.ca)
