Clark Reports 0 Coronavirus Deaths In July

CLARK, NJ — Clark is reporting 0 coronavirus-related deaths for the month of July, according to the Township Health Officer. This is the second month in a row the town has had 0 coronavirus-related deaths.

Nancy Raymond, Clark Township Health Officer, shared cumulative coronavirus totals from March through July 31 including:

  • 3,114 reports received of which 35 were out of the jurisdiction

  • 1,594 negative cases for COVID-19

  • 255 confirmed positive COVID-19 cases

  • 254 cases were investigated and closed

  • 1 case is pending

As of Monday, there were 17 new coronavirus cases in Union County bringing the total to 16,590 and 1,177 total deaths.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced Monday that he was limiting indoor gatherings to 25 people and 25 percent capacity per room, reversing a previous increase to 100 people due to the coronavirus transmission rate nearly doubling what it was a month ago.
