Today is special in Pasadena. If you or a member of your family is a veteran of any branch of America’s military, today is a day to remember the sacrifice and reflect. In honor od this, there are a number of special events and offerings today. Here is a partial list:

Veteran’s Day Kidspace Children’s Museum

Celebrate Veteran’s Day at Kidspace Children’s Museum on Monday, November 11th. The Museum is offering “both active military and veterans with ID free admission to the museum for up to 4 guests in their party.”

Veteran’s Day at City Hall

The community — especially all current and former members of the U.S. military and their families and all first responders — are invited to join other local veterans, city officials, and community leaders for a free Veterans Day ceremony on the steps of City Hall, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and concluding with a special military fly-over at 11:11 a.m. The celebration features marching bands, guest speakers, and light refreshments.

Veterans Day at Brookside Park with Kona Ice

Join us this Monday afternoon in Brookside Park for some delicious Kona Ice. Come join us in Brookside Park this Veterans Day. Entrance to Kidspace Museum is free today for veterans and their families. Play in the park, enjoy the picnic tables and benches in the shade. Bring a ball and play on the grassy fields.

Veteran’s Day 2019 Denny’s Veterans Day Free Grand Slam

All active, non-active and retired military personnel are invited to enjoy a free Build Your Own Grand Slam at participating Denny’s from 5 a.m. to noon. Diners can customize their Grand Slam, which includes four breakfast items such as buttermilk pancakes, eggs cooked to order, bacon strips, buttermilk biscuits or hash browns.

Dunkin’ Donuts Veterans Day Free Donut

Participating locations nationwide are serving a sweet salute to veterans and active duty military: a free donut of their choice on Veterans Day. No purchase necessary. Limit one per customer, while supplies last. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed with the Dunkin’ Mobile App. The first 50 veterans and active military at participating locations will also receive a thank you card written by members of the community from A Million Thanks.
