HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Senator John DiSanto is hosting a seminar Monday on identity theft and scams.

Pennsylvania is ranked as the 13th worst state for cybercrime based on FBI data.

DiSanto wants to make sure you know how to avoid being a victim of a scam or identity theft.

The seminar is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the East Shore Area Library, in the 4500 block of Ethel Street.

There will be a specialist from the state Banking and Securities Department with information on how identities are stolen or compromised and what to do if you have had your identity stolen.
