The party in Louisiana still hasn’t stopped since LSU defeated Clemson in the College Football Playoff national championship last Monday.

Over the weekend, thousands of LSU fans lined streets near Tiger Stadium and packed a basketball arena for a parade honoring the team’s season.

LSU coach Ed Orgeron led players, including Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Joe Burrow, into the arena.

During the celebration, Burrow was asked what was the “team Heisman moment of the year?”

“It’s got to be going into Tuscaloosa, right?” Burrow asked. “It’s got to be. That was a dominate win. The final scoreboard didn’t show it, but that was complete dominance.”

Then-No. 2 LSU beat then-No. 3 Alabama 46-41. In the game, Burrow passed for 393 yards and three touchdowns, and the Tigers snapped an eight-game losing streak to Nick Saban’s Tide.

The Tide rallied from a 33-13 halftime deficit to three times pull within a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Tua Tagovailoa, 20 days removed from ankle surgery, was 21-of-40 for 418 yards and four touchdowns, including an 85-yard touchdown pass to DeVonta Smith with 1:21 left.

On Saturday, Burrow was presented a replica Heisman Trophy to the school. Orgeron was presented with college football’s coaches’ award and a crystal football. LSU finished 15-0 with seven victories over teams ranked in the top 10 at the time the games were played.

Burrow's 5,671 yards passing tied for third most in a single season in NCAA history and his 60 passing touchdowns set an NCAA record.

LSU led the nation in scoring with 48.4 points per game and in total offense with 568.5 yards per game.
