Konkona Sensharma seems to have been in Bandra recently as she shared a picture of a mural of her late co-star, Irrfan. She wrote: Today in Bandra, my heart stopped #irrfankhan." The two have acted in several notable films like
Life In A Metro
and
Talvar
among others. However, she is not the only one to react like this on seeing Irrfan's. A few months ago, Nimrat Kaur, who acted opposite Irrfan in The Lunchbox, also went through a similar experience as she passed by the mural.
She wrote: "Chanced upon this arresting mural in Ranwar Village on an errand run today. Incidentally only a few houses down the one where Saajan Fernandes’s house was located in
The Lunchbox
. Such an ominous yet celebratory confluence of life and art. My heart felt compliments to the artist @bollywoodartproject and a million thoughts and loving prayers for this immortal soul. All that came to the mind was, who knew...#IrrfanForever.”

Irrfan passed away after a long battle with colon cancer on April 29. He was 53. The much-revered and accomplished actor's death left the country shocked. One such person who was heartbroken with the news was artist Ranjit Dahiya, the founder of a collective of street artists, whose Bollywood murals can be seen across the city. He got down to working on the mural, which he sketched on an old house in Bandra’s Waroda Road. It took him (and his co-artist, Vikas Bansal) three days to complete the mural. And they apparently are in no hurry to replace the painting, calling the wall Irrfan Khan wall.
