Using his music for inspiration, Last Christmas is now the name of a new festive jukebox movie. Written by Emma Thompson and starring Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, here is all you need to know about the Yuletide film.

When is Last Christmas out in cinemas?
Last Christmas is out in UK cinemas on November 15.
The movie will make its debut over in Australia on November 7, before various countries, including the USA, will see the movie over the weekend of November 7-8.
The UK will then come out on November 15, before it continues its worldwide release over the Christmas period.
Who is in the cast of Last Christmas?
Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding star as Kate and Tom, the lovebirds who find hope and romance over the course of the film.
Michelle Yeoh is Santa, the owner of the Christmas store Kate works in, and Emma Thompson is Adelia, Kate’s mother.
Lydia Leonard is Kate’s sister Marta, while Patti LuPone makes an epic appearance as Joyce alongside Rebecca Root as Dr Addis.
Comedy legends Rob Delaney and Peter Serafinowicz play a theatre director and producer, while Ingrid Oliver plays Police Woman Crowley.
The movie was written by Thompson alongside with playwright Bryony Kimmings, based on a story conceived by Thompson and her husband Greg Wise.

What is the plot of Last Christmas?
Universal has released an official synopsis, which reads: “Kate (Emilia Clarke) harumphs around London, a bundle of bad decisions accompanied by the jangle of bells on her shoes, another irritating consequence from her job as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop.
“Tom (Henry Golding) seems too good to be true when he walks into her life and starts to see through so many of Kate’s barriers.
“As London transforms into the most wonderful time of the year, nothing should work for these two.
“But sometimes, you gotta let the snow fall where it may, you gotta listen to your heart… and you gotta have faith.”
