RACINE COUNTY, WI — An Illinois man has been arrested and charged after authorities in Racine County say he was pulled over on I-94 for multiple violations, only to have the deputy find out he was carrying multiple forms of marijuana.
Racine Sheriff's officials say David Thames, 57, of Grayslake, was pulled over at 10:45 p.m. on Friday, May 22 on the Highway 11 off ramp near I-94 after a deputy on patrol saw that his vehicle was swerving across traffic lanes and was driving "at an abnormally slow speed."
According to court documents, deputies found Thames' speech to be slow and slurred. When deputies searched his car, they reported finding two grams of marijuana, two edible THC cereal bars, eight THC vape cartridges.
