Ashuelot River Water Quality Monitoring volunteer training

Join the Ashuelot River Local Advisory Committee (ARLAC) for their 19th season of water quality monitoring! Volunteers conduct monthly physical and chemical water quality monitoring along the length of the Ashuelot River from Washington to Hinsdale; the data are then used by New Hampshire DES, the EPA, and local conservation commissions. Participants in this training will gain hands-on experience in sampling techniques and in the use of monitoring equipment.

Tuesday, May 14, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Putnam Science Center at Keene State College (Room TBD). Registration is required. For more information or to register, please contact Barbara Skuly at (603) 352-0987 or bskuly@ne.rr.com.
