Statewide Independent Living Council members Rose Viltz and Jamie Duplechaine stopped by GMA to share more about the organization's Inclusion Job and Resource Fair.
The fair is being hosted later today, October 11, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, at the Robicheaux Recreation Center in Lafayette.
This event will feature 40+ vendor tables offering job and resource opportunities to those with disabilities. Information about openings and all resources in the Lafayette area will be available.
The council works to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence and productivity of individuals with disabilities, facilitating integration and full inclusion into the mainstream of American society.
Individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to attend.
