Md. Comptroller to reopen most branch offices on June 1st

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot announced on Friday that 9 out of 12 branch offices throughout the state will reopen on Monday, June 1st.

We’re told the offices will be open by appointment only. Offices in Baltimore, Frederick, and Upper Marlboro will remain closed.

Limited staff at the 9 open branch offices will return and follow state and CDC guidelines. Employees will work on rotating schedules and practice physical and social distancing.

Anyone needing to visit a branch office must make an appointment in advance, as no walk-in service will be provided. Offices will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and appointments can be made by clicking here and then clicking on locations.
