Video: Governor Justice’s expert, Babydog, woofs out a Super Bowl prediction

Gov. Jim Justice’s popular pooch Babydog made an appearance at a regular briefing today with a Super Bowl prediction.

The English Bulldog, with assistance from the governor, forecast an outcome of Tampa Bay 31, Kansas City 20.

“She’s in charge. You don’t need to watch the game,” Justice said.

Babydog, named by the governor’s grandson, has made an increasing number of public appearances recently. The dog stole the spotlight during the governor’s inauguration ceremony last month.

Today, toward the end of a regular briefing, Justice started describing Super Bowl predictions and while the dog was brought to him — somewhat awkwardly.

Justice guided Babydog’s paws to demonstrate a final score prediction and produced a written, somewhat-official, pre-produced version on paper.
