Pennsylvania anglers and hunters can buy licenses and permits online again.

Pennsylvania’s Automated Licensing System for fishing and hunting/trapping licenses went offline for a few days starting Tuesday as the state upgraded the purchasing program.

When the system went back online Friday, it had been replaced by an upgraded program called HuntFishPa that can be found at https://huntfish.pa.gov. Rather than going to different pages to purchase licenses, stamps and permits, outdoors enthusiasts can go to the same page to buy fishing licenses or hunting licenses or both.

Anglers can also find the page through the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission website at www.fishandboat.com. Hunters and trappers can find the HuntFishPa link through the Pennsylvania Game Commission website at www.pgc.pa.gov.

Those wishing to buy licenses are required to register for an online account before making a purchase.

HuntFishPa is selling 2021 fishing licenses and stamps. The site is selling only available 2020-21 hunting licenses or permits. (The 2021-22 hunting licenses are not currently available because seasons and bag limits must be approved by the PGC.)
