Four generations of the Dotson family walked into FedExForum Thursday night, and David Dotson couldn’t wait any longer. As everyone else lingered in the concourse, he went alone to his pinnacle level seat, barely stopping as he told the usher greeting him, “It’s good to be back.”  

The Dotsons have been Tiger basketball season ticket holders since they were sitting up in the nosebleeds at The Pyramid. They had been to every game fans were allowed to attend this season, which means they hadn’t attended a Memphis basketball game since Dec. 8.
