Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston have a Breaking Bad reunion at Super Bowl LIV... before Bryan's Shining-inspired Mountain Dew ad airs

Their acclaimed series Breaking Bad ended its five-season run in 2013.

But that didn't keep co-stars and friends Aaron Paul, 40, and Bryan Cranston, 63, from reuniting for a special day.

The two actors met up Sunday in Miami to watch the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl, shortly before Bryan's high-profile Mountain Dew commercial aired.

Aaron looked cozy and playful in a dark orange sweater adorned with Mickey Mouse heads, while Bryan looked casual in a gray–blue shirt.

The two friends posted outside the Hard Rock stadium before heading in for the game.

'Game day baby!!' Aaron wrote, before plugging his new mezcal brand Dos Hombres.

Both he and Bryan sported black baseball caps advertising the label featuring two orange donkeys.

Earlier on Sunday, Bryan shared his new Mountain Dew Zero commercial to his Instagram account.

The clip, which mimics Stanley Kubrick's classic horror film The Shining, featured the Malcolm In The Middle star adopting the Jack Nicholson role, while Black-ish's Tracee Ellis Ross took up Shelley Duvall's part.

After a terrifying Bryan broke through the door with an ax, he handed her a bottle of the sugar-free soda.

'I am thirsty,' she says as she reaches for it.

'I love Nicholson and I love The Shining, and when I first heard the pitch – they came back to me and some of the dialogue was, ‘Maybe better than the original’ and the only concern I had was, ‘I don’t want anyone to think that Bryan Cranston is saying that I’m better than Jack Nicholson.

Watch Breaking Bad on Netflix, or on Stan in Australia.
