Cross-country: Ursuline takes team title at Disney; Haley McLean and Iona Prep's Bravo win

Ursuline may have graduated a wealth of running talent last spring but, clearly, a lot is left

Friday, the Koala cross-country team won its third consecutive team title at the Disney Cross Country Classic in Florida.

Ursuline placed four runners in the top 10, topped by Haley McLean (19:20.7) in first and Daphne Banino (20:00.3) in second.

Claire Wilson clocked 20:19.1 for fifth and Caitlin McLean was ninth (21:00) in the 139-runner 3.1-mile Jasmine race.

Iona Prep also had a big day with two top-10 finishes.

Pedro Bravo won the 162-runner Robin Hood race in 16:09.2. He finished more than 12 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
