Gianna Puorro scored twice for top-seeded West Essex, No. 3 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 8-0 victory against Glen Ridge in the semifinal round of the Essex County Tournament in North Caldwell.

Cait Lutz registered one goal and two assists as Evangeline Minnella, Nicole Campolattaro, Gianna Macrino, Julianna Tornatore and Sophia Sisco rounded out the rest of the scoring for West Essex (14-2). Cielle McInerney and Halle Aschenbach dished out two assists each while Minnella and Hannah Marcotrigiano had one apiece.

Abby Zanelli made four saves for West Essex, which will take on second-seeded Montclair in the tournament title on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at a location to be determined.

Ashley Woertz compiled 20 saves for Glen Ridge (11-3).
