National unity in Bahrain, Kuwait repelled terrorism -- Ambassador Sheikh Azzam

MANAMA, July 2 (KUNA) -- Bahrain and Kuwait have demonstrated national unity in repelling terrorism and discords, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Al-Sabah said.
Ambassador Sheikh Azzam, during a meeting with the head of the Jaafarite Awqaf in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Mohsen Al-Asfour, on Saturday, said the solidarity between the people and leaders in the two countries solidified the internal front against seditions and surrounding dangers.
For his part, Sheikh Al-Asfour lauded stances by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah toward various internal, regional and international issues. He praised Sheikh Sabah for being wise and giving priority for interests of the Arab and Muslim nations.
Sheikh Al-Asfour affirmed that the Kuwaiti-Bahraini relationship is distinguished with sincere brotherhood at the leadership and grass-root levels. (end) mga.rk
