Former Philadelphia Fusion prospect Lee "WhoRU" Seung-jun has gone pro and signed with the New York Excelsior.

The DPS phenom had played for Fusion University since the Overwatch League's inception.

WhoRU won APEX Seasons 2 and 3 with Lunatic Hai in Korea, but the team struggled to a 5-6th finish in Season 4.

His Fusion University squad won the Overwatch Contenders Seasons 1 and 2, but he didn't have nearly the same success when loaned to Meta Athena (11-12th Overwatch Contenders 2018 Season 3: Korea) or Skyfoxes (5-6th, 2019 Season 2 North America).

The Genji specialist will be the fourth DPS player on the Excelsior roster.

The Excelsior also announced Friday that DPS player Kim "Pine" Do-hyeon is retiring, though he will remain part of NYXL as a streamer.
