Equipment malfunction lead to scuba diver’s death

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Investigators have determined equipment malfunction caused a man to drown in the Falling Rock Park Quarry.
Dennis Price, 62, was found unresponsive in the water on Sept. 29, 2019.
Police said Price, an experienced scuba diver, had assembled his dive gear himself and there was a malfunction.
His cause of death has been ruled as an accidental drowning due to equipment failure.
