Jamestown Regional Medical Center named a 2021 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital

Jamestown Regional Medical Center, a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Jamestown, has been named one of the Top 100 CAHs in the country for 2021.

Jamestown Regional Medical Center , a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in Jamestown, has been named one of the Top 100 CAHs in the country for 2021, according to the Chartis Center for Rural Health. North Dakota has 12 CAHs named to this year’s top 100.

Top 100 hospitals are top performers, excelling in managing risk, achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction and operating at a lower cost than their peers.

“We are so proud of all of our CAHs,” said Jody Ward, project director of the North Dakota CAH Quality Network . “This year has been a tough one in health care, so to see 12 of our hospitals being recognized in the top 100, means we are doing things correctly.”

Other North Dakota hospitals receiving Top 100 recognition include CHI Lisbon Health, Lisbon; CHI Oakes Hospital, Oakes; CHI St. Alexius Health Carrington, Carrington; CHI St. Alexius Health Garrison, Garrison; Linton Hospital, Linton; Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier; Sanford Mayville Medical Center, Mayville; South Central Health, Wishek; St. Andrews Health Center, Bottineau; Towner County Medical Center, Cando; and West River Health Services, Hettinger.
