FLORIDA TODAY will host an election forum for the Palm Bay mayor race Thursday at noon.

The forum will feature four candidates: Alfred Ramsey Agarie, Alan Randolph Borkowski, Rob Medina and Kay Maragh. The seat is open.

All registered voters in Palm Bay are eligible to cast ballots in the Aug. 18 election, regardless of party affiliation. A runoff will happen in the Nov. 3 election if no candidate gets more than 50% of the vote.

The forums are a collaboration with the League of Women Voters of the Space Coast and Eastern Florida State College. While in previous elections the forums happened in person with an audience at EFSC's campus, they are now taking place virtually via live video because of COVID-19.

You can watch the forum on floridatoday.com, on the Facebook pages of FLORIDA TODAY, The League of Women Voters and EFSC, as well as YouTube. The recorded forum will stay on FLORIDA TODAY's website and Facebook page (facebook.com/Floridatoday) and will be broadcast July 21 at 8 p.m. on WEFS, Brevard's pubic TV station operated by EFSC. For information on how to find WEFS on your TV, go to easternflorida.edu/community-resources/wefs-tv/.
