Our temperature dipped below zero at MSP airport this morning. It was our first official trip below zero at MSP airport since Dec. 25.

Negative temps cover almost all of Minnesota and western Wisconsin this morning, with teens below zero common in northern Minnesota.

Parts of northern Minnesota have wind chills in the 40s below zero this morning. By afternoon, wind chill temps will be in the 20s to 30s below zero across Minnesota and western Wisconsin, with the coldest wind chills to the north:

Wind chill advisories in north-central and northeastern Minnesota run to 8 p.m. Saturday, then those areas are in a wind chill warning from 8 p.m. tonight to noon on Tuesday.
