Sheriff says South Carolina family ‘needs prayer’ after twin boys die in hot car

Twin 20-month-old boys died after being left in a vehicle for more than nine hours. The father of the children said he thought he took the boys, to daycare in Blythewood, a suburb of Columbia, South Carolina. Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said, “This family needs prayer their life will never be the same.” The manner of death was ruled an accident.
