'It's a nice thing to see the baby on the screen and hear the heartbeat and it's sad he's missing that. They terrify you by saying partner needs to stay nearby in case we need to get them in quickly to tell them bad news.

'Hopefully by the time I give birth in May, things will be better and he will be allowed in for the birth. I've had friends give birth recently and their husband had to leave after.

'I really hope that's not what we have to face. One thing I just cannot abide by is having to give birth alone.'

Louise and Mackenzie, who are parents to daughter Honor, three, told how they are looking forward to welcoming another girl.

The fashion blogger said: 'It's another little girl which I'm very excited about, two little girls.' Speaking to her husband, she added: 'You were brought up entirely around boys and now its almost like you've got your comeuppance.'

Louise filmed the vlog over a period of several weeks from soon after she found out she was pregnant and had not yet told her friends and family.

The presenter detailed the intense nausea and fatigue she felt for the first few weeks of her pregnancy, saying even walking up the stairs left her exhausted.

She said: 'I am almost eight weeks pregnant, nobody knows. I have 24-hour nausea, headache and feel utterly exhausted to the point where walking up the stairs makes me shake a bit and need to sit down.

'I'm so grateful and thrilled to be pregnant again. When I was pregnant before, the first trimester was really hard.

She later added: 'I wake up at three in the morning and I want to throw up. It's quite hard. I'm pushing through each day. I know it probably sounds pathetic, but when you're in it…

'Just trying to concentrate or do anything is a bloody nightmare. Most people don't tell anyone until they're 12 weeks so you're just pretending that you're fine.'

Louise told how the nausea left her feeling in such a low mood that her father was worried about her before she announced her pregnancy.

She added: 'Hopefully by the time I give birth in May, things will be better and he will be allowed in for the birth'

She said: 'I am 11 and a bit weeks pregnant now. Still feeling utterly awful, still got 24/7 nausea and I don't want to eat anything, I'm forcing stuff down.

'The fatigue is the worst I've ever experienced. I rarely feel this negative. A lot of people are feeling pretty low right now. I am really grateful to be pregnant but I'm just sharing, trying to be as honest as possible.

'Not telling people, it's got to that stage where I kind of want too now. My dad said I'm worried about you because you seem low. I don't want them to worry too much.'

The TV presenter announced her second pregnancy on Instagram in January, sharing a sweet photo of Honor hugging and kissing her bump.

'We were both in different relationships, so I don't think we even thought of it that way, but when I look back now, I know that we made each other laugh a lot.

'We just had a good rapport, and I think it was the final series when we kind of realised there was some more going on, but it took us a minute.'

Louise started her career as a fashion journalist, writing for the British editions of ELLE and Vogue, among others, before moving to the US in late 2009.

The TV presenter shot to fame on the second season of MTV reality show, The City, alongside fellow fashionista Olivia Palermo, before going on to host Plain Jane, NBC's Fashion Star and the red carpet during awards season for Access Hollywood.
