NIPPERS CORNER, Tenn. (WKRN)– We have new information about a story we reported.

A woman told police she was stabbed during an attempted robbery outside the Walgreens on Edmondson Pike.

Metro Police now tell News 2, the victim left the scene before calling it in.

A follow-up led them to believe this actually happened in Williamson County at the Walgreens on Franklin Road in Brentwood.

Brentwood Police say they are now involved in the case, but say they think it may have happened in Davidson County.

Brentwood Police tell us that part of that Walgreens property on Franklin Road is actually in Davidson County.
