A metro sheriff's office said a man went into strangers' homes, ate their food, and hung out for a while.

Andrew Earls, 27, is now a wanted man. Cleveland County investigators said he burglarized at least 5 homes, but not before grabbing a cold one.

“He typically finds homes that are unoccupied. He will go in and eat and drink their alcohol and just kind of hang out,” said Mendi Brandon with the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.

According to investigators, Earls is also connected to multiple burglaries in Woodward County.

“It was reported and caught on ring camera. We were able to connect him through photos but also his MO is the same,” said Brandon.

Deputies said the most recent two happened in the last 48 hours near 180th Street and Post Oak Road.

“They believe he is still in the area and on foot hiding out in the woods. Possibly wearing camo or a ghillie suit,” she said.

Investigators said Earls will even climb trees to escape law enforcement. The U.S. Marshals are stepping in to assist in this unusual case.

“It is very unusual. Typically, people who are committing this type of crime are getting in and out quickly, so they don’t get caught. We don’t know why he is staying in these houses,” said Brandon.

Earls has two active felony warrants for burglary and grand larceny.

“He takes anything that he can. Guns, vehicles, whatever he can get his hands on and then leaves the area,” said Brandon.

The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office said if you see Earls, don't approach him, instead, give them a call.
