The Woodlands Township invites residents to incorporation public forum Sept. 25

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Township Board of Directors invites residents to an Incorporation Planning Study Public Forum on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

Residents are encouraged to bring their feedback and ideas regarding incorporation and future governance to share during the public forum. The Woodlands Township Incorporation Study consultants will provide a recap of studies to date such as the best practices analysis, law enforcement analysis, street condition analysis, a review of municipal utility district (MUD) operations and public feedback received to date.

“The Board of Directors looks forward to an open dialogue with our residents about the Incorporation Planning Study and its current findings,” said Township Chairman Gordy Bunch. “The input of our residents is vital to the study, and we hope that they will attend and share their thoughts with us. We also encourage residents to attend the planning sessions that are held twice monthly at the Township Town Hall.”

In advance of the public forum, an Incorporation Planning Study website has been launched at www.thewoodlandsincorporationstudy.com. The website includes an overview of The Woodlands Township, FAQs about the study, past meeting videos and more.
